KEVIN SKINNER was born in the western Kentucky hills where music and country life is intertwined. Although music is a way of life there and his family are all very musically talented, it is one very special family member that provided the inspiration that drives this special man’s style. Kevin’s grandma always said that someday someone is going to take the time out to listen and she was right as Kevin’s music is still circling the globe following that special night when he sang his 1st audition song on Americas Got Talent. “If Tomorrow Never Comes” by Garth Brooks, his grandma’s favorite! Kevin’s unique style is the magic that captivates his audience. It is as if his heart touches yours when he sings. Music is Kevin’s southern soul and he lives and breathes song that he hopes touches someone else, as they did him. That is the essence of Kevin’s motivation and the reason he wrote a song to honor his grandma, Ethel when he wrote “Her Stone” and chose an original piece and not a cover to progress through the audition stages for Americas Got Talent. Kevin Skinner is a spiritual man who knows his own heart well and has done many a benefit concert this past year and a passion for helping children. His work ethic was instilled at an early age prior to picking up that guitar at twelve years old. He offers a helping hand to many and a few words to those with a dream that it is often not easy but anything is possible, if you are willing and not give up!

A whirlwind few years followed as Kevin headlined in Las Vegas and Foxwoods Casino in Connecticut and also opened for Charlie Daniels, George Jones, Jo-Dee Messina, and John Montgomery. He created a video, which is on CMT.com for his song “Like It’s The Last Goodbye” done by the famous John Lloyd Miller had done over 240 celebrities’ video like “The Dance” for Garth Brooks. Kevin’s first CD includes ten “original” songs, many predicted to be #1 hits! Kevin spends many an hour perfecting perfection as he plays “Free Bird” and many other Lynyrd Skynyrd songs, as well as those he enjoys by Hank Williams Jr and Sr, Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, Jamie Johnson, Ted Nugent and so many more! Kevin is an accomplished guitarist as well as songwriter and performer. The best of Kevin is watching him LIVE on stage and you instantly see his straw hat silhouette dancing and feel the unique songs that are Kevin Skinner’s soul. Kevin will be touring here in the US and to several other countries this next year. A return to the Don Laughlin’s Riverside Resort and Casino is scheduled for April 2012. The review in Laughlin, Nevada read, “Skinner has Talent To Burn” as the seats for two weeks! (http://www.cmt.com/videos/kevin-skinner/524262/like-its-the-last-goodbye.jhtml)

It is no surprise that “Long Ride” debuted on the on the Cashbox Music Country Charts at #26 where Brad Paisley had his start and two week later moving to #22 which is also on the Pop Chart! Millions of followers still watch the You Tube performances and surprisingly those numbers are still in the millions monthly as the Americas Got Talent show circles the globe and the response has been the same from around the world. His win of Americas Got Talent is still playing around the globe and followers to the tune of more than a million views per month perpetuate presently three years beyond that fateful Sept 16th, 2009 win.

Kevin’s schedule is filling in fast and he currently has several sponsors that came from his friends at The Outdoor Channel where Kevin mixes a little business with pleasure and an accomplished outdoorsmen.

A more talented yet humble performer is simply not to be found.
